Sneak Peek! Stars Are Shining Bundle
Here we go, another fun sneak peek. I made this card on my Instagram Live last night, there were a few hiccups but end the end the card turned out great. Let me express that creating on a live platform can be a bit nerve-racking. But I am sure a few more lives and I will feel comfortable. I was learning about adding slides today! So… fun things to come.
But for now back to the card! I created my first card in Cherry Cobbler and Cogld and for the live I switched it up and Created the card in Misty Moonlight and Silver. I used the Stars Are Shining Stamp set to create a star pattern on the Vellum. First, use your embossing buddy or static tool on the Vellum. The gold and silver embossing powder is very fine and will get everywhere (do not forget this step). Using Versa Mark I started by stamping my stars in the middle and working my way out to ensure my stars would land where I wanted them. I used my heat tool to melt the emboss powder and make it shiny.
I used simple layers behind the vellum. One striped paper and one shiny paper. For Cherry Cobbler card used Gold Foil sheets and Tidings of Christmas DSP that are in the Annual Catalog. And for the Misty Moonlight card, I used Be Dazzling Specialty Paper (in the live I referred to it as dazzling diamonds) and Penguin Playmates DSP that is in the Sale A Bration Catalog and will be available 8/3/21. These paper packs can be earned FREE with qualifying $50.00 purchases.
I heat embossed the Twinkle Twinkle Christmas Star sentiment in black on a Seasonal Labels die cut. These dies have a lot of great options! There are little thin dies that have an option to put little slits in the edge to put ribbon through!. That will be a card very soon. I added a few embellishments, a simple banner tag, and this simple card is finished. You can go to my Instagram to watch a replay of the live if you have any questions.
Leave a comment and tell me if this card makes you feel all wintery. And if you don’t already have a demonstrator, I would love to fill the position, just click here to get in touch with me.
