Sun, Sand & Sea

This card was created for #sharingsummer24 Instagram Hop. The theme for this card was Sun, Sand & Mixed Media.

I used Zig Clean Brush Color pens to create the background, to get the splotchy look in the water I added Kosher salt while the color dried. I used the Copic Opaque White to add wave marks. If I am being honest, I don’t love it, I prefer to use gouache for the water line. But I do love how my sand turned out!

I used Soda Pop Boy – Winnie for the boy image from Polkadoodles. The beach hut is an image from Canva and I typed up the sentiment.

The images are colored with Ohuhu markers, and I added a touch of glossy accents to the items on the hut.
