Warm Browns and a Mood Board

This week I am sharing my card for the Fall Friends Instagram Hop. You can head over today to see what all the talented designers have to share. I am excited to see myself. This mood board is stunning and can be interpreted in so many ways.

I decided to go with the brown tones and the coffee cup caught my eye! The stamp set used is Coffee Love from Altenew. This set has so many fun coffee pots and coffee cup combos. But the sentiment is perfect for those fall feels! Coffee is a warm hug in a cup.

I used some simple layers and a gingham embossing folder to create the backdrop for these fun coffee images.

I absolutely love the retro feel of the font on the Coffee Love stamp set from Altenew, I heat embossed it in gold wow embossing powder on crumb cake card stock. It didn’t pop enough, so I added ground espresso distress in by swiping the ink pad over the top of it. It made the embossed sentiment pop up more.

I finished the card with splatter and Nuevo drops, they weren’t the “right” gold but I went with them because that is what I have lol.
