Today I am sharing a card I created to go along with @thatcraftygolden’s IG Birthday Giveaway hop. Be sure to head over to IG to see all the fun Birthday Inspired projects!
I used It’s Sherbet Day stamp set from Trinity Stamps for my focal image and fun sentiment for this Shaker card.

The shaker window was created with Stitched Shaker window dies from Stamp Market and I cut the Birthday Brights patter from paper from Crafty Stamp Co using the Postage Stamp die from Stamp Market.
The background in the shaker window is a blended combo on Bristol Smooth paper of Distress Oxide Inks, Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin and Mustard Seed. I added splats of water, white opaque copic in and Pink Gumball perfect pearls.

I used the sprinkles die in the Gnome set and the confetti looking die in the Shaker die set to create my shaker bits with a few added ballon and happy birthday word sequences. I did die cut a blended piece of card stock to color back the inked background. If I was going to do it again, I would just die cut colored cardstock so that the white backside does not show.
Fun fact the black 3D Embossed layer is a piece I have had in my black cardstock scrap folder for over 2 years. I finally used it, woohoo.
The Gnome is colored with Ohuhu Alcohol Markers, I also added a few white highlights and wink of stella. I had an issue with skin tones on this one, I ended up stamping out a second gnome, top half only. I colored it again with colors that made sense and then fussy cut it and glued it to the gnome. I just didn’t have time to color the entire gnome again, so I took a slight short cut.
