I am up as a guest designer on The Coffee Loving Papercrafters blog! Be sure to head over and check it outl
We made it to Friday! On Friday my sister and I like to go out and get a coffee, the rest of the week I make it at home. Are you an everyday out of the house coffee person or a sometimes out of the house coffee person?

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, I thought I would make a love themed card and a strip of pattern paper from Super Sponsor Crafty Stamp Co was the perfect addition under the circle sentiment layer.

The background stamp is from Super Sponsor Whimsy Stamps and is called Coffee Break additions. To create the background, I darkened up areas of a Kraft card base with Vintage Photo distress ink. Then I used white Lawn Fawn pigment ink to stamp the percolator image at random on the card base. I made sure to stamp any large edge gaps, to create a full background.

To finish the card, I added splatters of gold and red. And placed white enamel dots to the outside edge of the circle layer. I hope this card inspire you to create your own background, it is such a fun and quick process!
