The ocean is a great love of mine, so I was drawn to Coast Beach Background scene for my blog inspiration card today. From there I decided a rainy scene would be fun and a Cute chick with umbrella and rubber boots would fit perfectly. The last image I colored was the light house, and sadly there was an unfortunate incident with a red Copic marker. I decide not to scrap the scene and covered it in glitter to give a nice shimmery rain effect! At this point in my life, I have decided glitter can fix everything. I love the font on this sentiment I used from the Winnie Daisy Greetings collection. I hope this card inspires you to roll with the oppsies.

I Copic colored this card and normally I give the colors used, but by the time I had finished testing out colors and make sure are of the card were blending well, I had so many colors on my desk I wasn’t sure which ones were the ones that worked.

I do have TIP: if you are trying to blend waves or a gray sky scene and an area gets too dark, use a white ink like Copic Opaque white or a white gel pen to add dots over the area then use your finger to gently smear the dots. You should be able to spread them out enough that you get a foggy cloudy effect on the card.
