Hey crafty people, Megan with the design team here, sharing a graduation themed card featuring Wonder Dog Gracie.
I started by cutting a piece Comic Backgrounds 6 x 6 paper to create the background for my mini slimline sized card. I pulled a die from my stash to create the star overlay on a blue piece of paper. I adhered that with liquid glue. Then added white splatter to the card background.
I cut a stitched circle out of orange card stock and then a smaller stitched circle out of the black and white side of the Comic background paper. I colored Gracie with Copic Markers and used my Scan N Cut to cut Gracie and a black background layer for Gracie. I added a low-profile foam tape and adhered it to stitched circle layers.
I used a mix of sentiments from Wonder Dog Gracie to create the main sentiment for this card. I cut up the sentiments then layered them with black cardstock and two different layers of Comic background paper. Once the sentiment layout was complete, I adhered it to the card base with liquid glue.
To finish off the card I added the OMG! sentiment from Super sentiments in black and white so that it would stand out on the colorful background and a few orange embellishments to the card.
Using the Comic paper pad that has a black and white and a colorful side really helped me to complete this card quickly, I just hope the recipient loves all the colors as much as I do.
