Hello crafty friends, Megan here with a Gnomie Cuppie Cakes belated Birthday card for you. This is a Mini Slimline sized card that packs a powerful punch using the Birthday Brights 6 x 6 pattern paper.
I used two stamp sets for this card, Gnomie Cuppie Cakes and Blendibles Buddies. I picked two of the gnomies that fit the card and colored them with Copic and Ohuhu Markers, to match up with the pattern paper. I also used the chocolate covered strawberry at the top of the card. But I made mine a pink chocolate covered strawberry. I used the heart from BlendibleS Buddies to fill in the lower section of the card.
I picked out 2 pattern papers from the Birthday Brights 6 x 6 paper pad, I used one for the focal behind the diecut and the other stripe paper for my stacked sentiment. I don’t know about you, but I love a stacked sentiment. I picked the Happy belated birthday sentiment for this card. To bring a little shine to the card I heat embossed it with black embossing powder. I trimmed the paper to fit in the area of the diecut and added a piece of low-profile foam tape to pop up the sentiment stack.
To give the card a festive feel I added clear rhinestone, Wink of Stella and white gel pen highlights. I am sure the recipient will love the added touches even if the card is a tad late!
