Happy Tuesday All! Today I am sharing a Winter in July card, inspired by my teamie Sharon who is sharing Christmas in July cards. For this card I used simple layers to feature the Yet for Winter stamp set.

I started with an A2 sized card base and cut a glitter style paper mat using Pumpkin Breeze 6 x 6 pattern paper. I created a snowflake background on a stitched rectangle using the Let it Snow stencil to layer on the glitter paper. The colors I used to create the background are Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick in Distress Oxide ink. I added a bit of white splats and water splats to this layer. I also used white heat embossing powder to add the sentiment and the word Coffee to the left of the Yeti.

I cut a dark pink layer, and die cut a piece of the glitter style paper to create layers under the Yeti. The Yeti from Yeti for Winter stamp set and his little coffee cup are colored with Copic Markers. I added a low-profile foam tape to the back of the rectangle layers under the Yeti for interest. I also added a bit of foam tape under the coffee cup.

To finish the card I added a few white gel pen highlights and some glitter dots from my stash.
I hope this simple layer card inspires you to pull out your pattern paper. And remember the Pumpkin Breeze 6 x 6 pattern paper is in the clearance section! Happy crafting friends.
