Hey all! Design team member Megan back with another card featuring the August 2025 pre-order products. Today I am sharing the Party Piggies stamp set paired with the Party Power 6 x 6 pattern Paper.
I started by using a stitched rectangle from my stash to cut out 2 pieces of the party power 6 x 6 pattern paper. Then I used a paper trimmer to cut the pieces in half from the top left corner to the lower right corner. I added a piece of dark pink cardstock behind the green dot layer and cut off the ends to be flush with an A2 sized card. I used liquid glue to adhere the layers.
I colored the piggies and cake using Copic markers to match the colors in the pattern paper. I used my Scan N Cut to cut out the piggies. Once they were cut out, I added white gel pen highlights to the pigges in various spots to help them stand out on the pattern paper.
I had a scrap of pattern paper from this pack from a card I created earlier and I fussy cut out a start to place behind my sentiment. I colored the cut out start with a Copic marker to brighten it up a bit, this way it would stand out behind the layered sentiment. I added a small cake as an embellishment to accent the sentiment.
I finished the card by adding a few sparkle dots from my stash. I hope this card inspires you to chop up that pattern paper!
