Creating Sky- I really enjoy trying to create sky on my card scenes. I still have a lot of learning to do when it comes to shading sky. That being said, I do love how my lightly shaded sky came out for my cabin card.
Plaid Background – The Plaid Tidings 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper gave stamped scene the prefect base to get that woodsy vibe. It is layered on top of a Crumb Cake card base and Shaded Spruce layer.
Snow Front Photopolymer- I am partial to Photopolymer stamps. One of the may reasons I love them is perfect placement every time. I find that I struggle less on my stamped images when I can see through the stamp!

Splatter strikes again – I add splatter of Frost White Shimmer paint after I had completed by stamped images. Just to give it the fun winter feel. I finished my Cabin by the Woods with a Cherry Cobbler colored Merry Christmas.

Always something to learn- I am a strong believer that there is always something to learn when creating. One of my top 5 things I want to improve on is my shaded sky. I know one day I will manage to create a Northern Lights background. You always something to strive for!
