Color Challenge #GDP289

The colors in this weekends Global Design Project challenge are just spectacular! Coastal Cabana, Magenta Madness, and Bumble Bee. If these colors do not scream summer is coming I don’t know what does!

With the 90 degree heat here in Fallbrook, CA right now, popsicles seemed like the logical choice for this card! I kept it simple with layered stamping and did not use any die-cuts for this card.

I did add a a bit of splatter with Memento Ink and Frost White shimmer paint mixed together, then heat embossed by sentiment in black.

Card Cut List

Use a Stampin’ Up! Paper Trimmer to cut a piece of Costal Cabana Cardstock to 4 1/4″ x 11″.  Score and fold at 5 1/2″. This will be the card base.

Cut a piece of True Love Designers Series paper 2 1/2″ x 5 1/2″. This will be the first layer.

Cut a piece of Basic Black 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″.This will be the second layer.

Cut a piece of Magenta Madness 3 1/8″ x 4 1/8″. This will be the third layer.

Cut a piece of Basic White 3″ x 4″. This will be the stamped layer.
