Simple Birthday

I had a request for 2 birthday cards. I knew 2 things, that tone was a 50th and the other a 60th and they were to be masculine cards. Now I could have asked more questions but decided to challenge myself by making nonspecific birthday cards. I struggled a bit with this but the end result is fun.

I used the Bloom Where You Are Planted DSP for the 3rd layer on the card. I die cut different sizes of the stitched rectangle dies. I added a rectangle piece of Vellum to the top of the DSP layer just for fun. I used one of my FAVORITE retired sets Family Party to create the 50 on the card. I had to improvise my TH because I wanted one that was just a bit bigger. So I used the Birthday stamp and washi tape to mask off the letters on the stamp I did not need. For the Happy came from the Biggest Wishes stamp set, I heat embossed my sentiment on a Black Stitched Circle.

The Bloom Where you are Plated DSP is on sale now you can get it for just $9.78! Who doesn’t love a good paper SALE?
