Here I am playing along with this week’s SUPER fun challenge over at The Paper Players! It is a Tic-Tac-Toe challenge! This was my first time doing a Tic-Tac-Toe challenge. So many options it was hard to decide.

I decided to do the Feminine, Friendship and Square Card line. I went with a Pale Papaya card base the added a piece of Pattern Party DSP! I broke out my Fresh Freesia Blends to create the center background. I used the blends and 99% alcohol on Vellum to get this look. I added a layer of Basic White behind the Vellum panel to make the Fresh Freesia pop! I also added a bit of black splatter with my black Stampin’ Write Maker.

I used the Shadow Summer dies for my die cut leaf and flowers. The Shadow Summer Dies are one of the WONDERFUL Sale-A-bration items that you get free with $100.00 purchase. These dies pair with the Shaded Summer stamp set. That just so happens to be where the Love you, friend sentiment came from. I heat embossed that in white on Mint Macaron. Something to remember: Always get the dies to go with the stamp! Stampin’ Up! is all about the product coordination.

The top layer of my flower is colored with Stampin’ Blends. You can find more details on the blog post Sneak Peek! Penguin Place. I added a bit of the Be Dazzling Specialty Paper that I colored. Sale-a-bration item alert: the Be Dazzling specialty paper is free with a $50.00 purchase. I used Mint Macaron for the leaf and sentiment layer. I added a Pale Papaya Genial Gem to the center of the flower layers for that final touch.

So many lovely details on your card Megan! The diecut flower compliments that lovely alcohol ink background and I love the addition of the inked dazzling sparkly paper to accent your sentiment too. Thanks for sharing with us over at The Paper Players this week!
Thank you Joanne! I really enjoyed this challenge.
Love the gorgeous, soft and feminine colors. The touches of black and white ground the focal image and make them pop. So many wonderful details on your card. So glad you joined us at the Paper Players this week
