Today’s card goes along with the sketch I posted earlier in the week. I have been on the hunt for digital stamps that I think I can watercolor. I am getting a better look with watercolor than I am with color pencils. I am not giving up on color pencils, but I am going to take more time to learn with them.

The image and sentiment are from a free digital download over at Colorado Craft Company called Thank You Hyacinth. I couldn’t believe it was free, it is such a beautiful image. And as I go back right now to see if the image is still free, sadly it is not.

After I downloaded the stamp set and then set up my layout in Canva, I printed the image on Tim Holtz watercolor paper. And then started adding color with Winsor Newton watercolors. That’s it, other than trimming the card and adding it to a kraft card base. Talk about simple!

I hope you enjoyed this card, if you did be sure to leave a comment and let me know.
