Itsy Bitsy Polka Dots

This card is to start off my Summer IG Hops, I have joined a few and am looking forward to each one! If you don’t follow me on IG be sure to do that so you can go and check out everyone’s interpretation of the challenge prompt. This week’s Hop Theme was Itsy Bitsy Tiny Winnie Yellow Polka dots, Swimsuits, beach or just dots.

Today’s card offers a whole lot of coloring! I put my Ohuho alcohol markers to work with this background. The main part of the background was created by by sweeping varying colors back and forth on a piece of X-press it paper.

For the ocean wave look I used my Ohuhu white gel pen to add lots of dots in curved patterns. As you can see lots of dots in varying browns was added to get the sand look.

The Digital Stamp used for the sweet girl is from Polkadoodles Crafts Vacation Winnie can be found HERE. The Sun is from a digital stamp set from @Copictopia Creative, it is part o the Barnraiser coloring competition going on until the end of June 2024. You can read more about that in this post HERE.

As for the sentiment and the beach ball, Canva for the win! I typed and picked a font for the Happy Birthday and found the beachball image in the graphics.

Be sure to head over to IG and hop along with us! We love engaging with everyone. Leave a comment here on my blog and let me know what you think!
