Life should be a Joyride

I created this fun A2 size card for an Instagram Hop I participated in yesterday. The them was starts with J. Be sure to head over to IG and Hop along.

I spent some time creating a pink sky, I started by using various yellow Ohuhu alcohol markers and then layering various pinks. A few of the pink likes got a bit too dark but show up more on the camera picture that in person. To do this type of sky I swiped the side of the brush nib back in forth from left to right blending lines together, so it would look softer.

The bottom of the background is made to mimic a dirt road. Because what is more fun than cranking up the music and driving down a dirt road!

I used Ohuhu Alcohol makers and gel pens to color the image. The sentiment is my own creation, it was how I brought the theme of starts with J full circle. A few dark purple strips to give the image dimension and the card is complete.
