Bats in the Moonlight

Here we go again with the cutest bats around! Today’s card for the Fall Friends card Hop features the Just Batsy stamp set from Crafty Stamp Co.

Fort the sparkle paper layer I used a piece of Faux sparkle paper from the Halloween Textures paper pack. To create my moon background, I used Distress Oxide Inks. I added mix of Distress Oxide Spary Stains and a bit of water spritzing. Now I have not used my Distress Oxide inks in over a year, so this was my third try at creating this background. I am really happy I went with the edge moon instead of a circle moon, it worked out for how the shadowing I did on the bats.

Moon: Wild Honey, Scattered Straw and Dried Merigold

Cloud Background: Wilted Violet and Villainous Potion

The cutest bats ever were colored with Ohuhu Markers, the Bats were a mix of the Cool Gray Markers Cool Grays.
