Tea for colder days

The weather is cooling as we head into gift giving season, why not give the gift of hot tea. I created a simple accordion style tea gift box. The box holds 3 standard size tea bags. I used the Papers 1 Winnie Christmas Wishes paper on the outer areas of the box. I created a belly band for the closure featuring an adorable penguin from 2 Cute Christmas Penguins. I also added Tis’ the Season to the belly band from Christmas greetings, quotes, and sentiment pack

This little penguin was so fun to color and adds the perfect embellishment to this Tea gift box. And if I am being honest, you can whip these up in 30 min or less. That is of course after the trial and error with the first one lol. There are many closure options, but for the least expensive one I went with belly band because I plan on giving a bunch of these to friends at our co-op. You could use other closure, magnet, Velcro or even ribbon.

I used a corner rounder to round my edges for the fold down flap and my cute penguin. And added the Tis the Season sentiment to finish off the box. The box will hold 3 standard tea bags, so have some fun and mix and match your teas.

There are many different styles of this gift box out there, here are the measurements I used.
