Bee Birthday

Hey all! Megan with the design team here! This fun fold card features Buzzy Bee Meadow 4×6 Stamp Set and Black & White Birthday 6×6 Pattern Paper Pack. Fun fact, if you put your sentiment in the right spot, you will be able to fold this card flat to fit in an A2 envelope.

To create this card, I followed my cut and score list.

Purple, teal and black is one of my all-time favorite color combos. I actually pulled the papers out and set them on my desk weeks ago to make a fun fold with them. It took a minute to figure out what stamp set I wanted to use, and I am so glad I used Buzzy Bee Meadow and her bee friends. They are too cute! All the images are colored with Copic Markers.

I used two different stamp sets for the sentiment on this card; the Happy Birthday is from Gnomie Cuppie Cakes and Friend is from Memorable Moments Sentiments 4×6 Stamp Set. I used by Scan N Cut to create a mat layer for the friend Sentiment. I did this by first cutting out the sentiment with the Scan N Cut, then editing the image to give it an .08 border adding a piece of the dark purple cardstock to my mat and setting it to cut. The Happy Birthday has a standard mat. I do want to mention, if you want your card to fit in an A2 standard envelope, do not put your sentiment where I put the Happy Birthday, be sure to place it on within the base layer area. If you don’t the card will end up bigger than an A2 envelope like mine did.

I love enamel dots, especially when the sparkle. For this card I used the Sea Glass Sparkle Crafty Dots and white gel pen highlights to give the card it’s finishing touches!
