This is a card was a lot of fun to make. I used a medley of things sitting on my desk from other projects to make it. It ended up being a light and fun note card.

We all have that pile of die-cuts and extra punches that don’t make it on the card that we are working on. I keep mine in a small bin. Using a Basic White note card base is a great way to make a fun card and clear up all those bits and pieces that don’t make the cut. I added a layer of Granny Apple Green ink with blending brushes in the middle of this card just to give a bit more color to the card.

Over the last few weeks, my Playful Alphabet dies have made it out of the craft cabinet many times. For my HELLO I attempted to do a technique that I have seen a few times. What the technique does is make the letters shiny by adding packing tape on the top layer of cardstock before die cutting the words. I like the technique but feel I need more practice. I am going to try a double layer of cardstock the next time I attempt it. And there will be a next time!
