I LOVE STAMPIN’ BLENDS– SOOO I watched a few You Tube videos one by Stampin’ Up! demonstrator Alisa Tilsner and one by Stampin’ Up demonstrator Kelly Acheson showing how to use Vellum, Stampin’ Blends, 91% or greater Isopropyl Alcohol, and a paint brush or water painter. I have spent the last week or maybe more now practicing this technique. AND I LOVE how the cards have turned out.

YAY FOR BIRTHDAYS– This is a birthday card for fellow demonstrator and I hope she loves it as much as I do. I almost kept it and made another one!
As I have been practicing I have found I prefer the look of the Dark Stampin’ Blend, the colors really stand out. It is important to add a piece of Basic White Cardstock to the back of the ink covered vellum. Otherwise the look of the card is duller. But it that is the look you are going for leave off the Basic White! Oh I almost forgot, make sure to do this in a well ventilated room. I like to sit next to an open window. That Alcohol is strong!

I had a little extra fun adding some Gold Gilded Leafing to the front of this card. I took my VersaMark Pad and dabbed it over the front of the card and then rubbed the Gold Gilded Leafing and hit it with the heat gun to set it in place.
Below are the products I used to create this card. A Touch of Ink is no longer available as it was a SAB set. You can sub any flower set you want!
