Brushed Blooms Anniversary

This card made me happy to make, it is for one of my favorite couples! I did not start out with the Basic Gray in the color line up for this card, but as I worked on it I determined it needed it. I love how it turned out!

Do you have any of the Flower & Filed SAB paper in your stash? I have a a pack and a half in mine and have been trying to come up with ways to work through it.

For my leaves I used left over paper that I created using the Clear Block F and Shaded Spruce ink. I did this by adding ink to the Clear Block and then using my Stampin Spritzer to add water and turn it upside down and press it on to a piece of Basic White Cardstock. I recommend letting this dry overnight. I had used this paper to make the Shamrocks on my St. Patrick’s Day cards so it was ready for me. That is how I got the multi-colored layers.

I used the Birch Background stamp and clear heat emboss powder on the Stitched Rectangle die-cut to give it some texture. Then using the So Saffron and Poppy Parade ink to add color on top of the clear heat embossed design.
