One day you are sitting there feeling accomplished because you have your projects done for the week and the next thing you know it is Friday (now Saturday) and you still have not posted the Thursday blog post. The things and people in my life seem to take over and I get behind.
Let’s talk Purple Posy! I used Purple Posy for my card base and Magenta Madness DSP on the front of this super cute Mini Slimline card.

This card is a perfect size to add cash too! You could put a gift card too, but for me cash is always exciting. It means I get to buy more Stampin’ Up! products! But I will never give a frowny face if I receive a coffee gift card!

This bow just made me so happy I had to take an up close of photo of it. Best bow I have done in awhile. I used the the Linen Thread to create this beauty.
Card Cut List
Use a Stampin’ Up! Paper Trimmer to cut a piece of Purple Posy Cardstock to 6 1/8″ x 5 1/2″. Score and fold at 3 1/8″. This will be the card base.
Cut a piece of DSP at 6″ x 2 1/4″. This will be your first layer.
Cut a piece of DSP at 6″ x 1″. This will be the stirp for the inside layer of the card.
Now for the Rococo Rose Card

For this card I scored it at a different measurement to give me a thinner line that shows from the inside of the card. As I made the card I did not think about the DSP already being retired because it is an older design, but sadly it is. The current design of the in color DSP is a lot of fun and can easily be substituted for this pattered DSP. I will include it in the links below.
I simply stamped it with one of the large leaves from the Forever Fern set in gold ink. The gold ink really makes it feel so elegant.

How much do you love the black splatter?!? Hopefully as much as I do. I am not sure if I have ever pared Pool Party with Rococo Rose before, but I know I will do it again.

Here is the link to the envelopes I purchased on Amazon go along with these adorable cards. I asked myself before I made the card, do I need 100 envelopes? Then I made the card and it was quick to make, I decided I needed 100 envelopes. Lucky for me, I can split them with my best friend if I start to slow down this card style.
