I have been toying with idea of doing a few more challenges a week. I have said it before and I will say it again, it helps me focus. I tend to get a bit overwhelmed with all the amazing options Stampin’ Up! has to offer. Having a theme to follow really helps me get the cards done. So his week I am playing along with The Paper Players!

This week’s theme at The Paper Players is fun, Clean and Simple Fruit & Berries Challenge: PP546. The guidelines for this challenge state: lots of white space, minimal embellishment, and minimal layers. With the specification you can focus on both or just one of the Fruits and Berries.

These guidelines were a fun challenge for me. I tired really hard not to add the Pale Papaya layer behind the stamped image but I could not help myself! I like the white on white look but I LOVE colors. And I love how this card came out! I have a few ideas on adding You’re A Peach DSP that I am going to work on later today.

I used my Stamparatus and Sponge Daubers to create the color layered stamping with Pale Papaya and Calypso Coral Ink. For my leaves I used Pear Pizazz and Old Olive! Then used my Black Stampin Write Marker fine pint to added black dots around the peaches and sentiment.
If you don’t already have a demonstrator I would love to hear from you! Leave a comment below.
