Let me start off by saying I LOVE THIS CARD! I generally enjoy the cards I make but I LOVE THIS CARD. I have been playing with the Blends and Isopropyl alcohol for a bit now, but I really feel like I am starting to get in my grove with it. I present to you my entry for this weeks Global Design Project #GDP300. This week we are CASEing designer Steffi Helmschrott, and her card is gorgeous!

I have this card preforming double duty otherwise I would never be able to make enough cards to participate in all the fun stamping challenges/promts that I want to participate in.. Over at Stampin Through the Catalog on Facebook and Instagram, the Through it Together stamp set is Tuesday’s Stamp set!

The card base is Cajun Craze, the strip layers on the card consist of Gold Metallic Specialty paper and Pattern Party DSP. The Soft Suede pumpkin die cut sits on top of a Alcohol Inked Vellum layer. I created the alcohol inked layer using my Dark Pumpkin Pie Stampin Blend and 99% Isopropyl Alcohol, you can use any alcohol above 91%. I use an alcohol air blower to move the ink around to get the desired look, be sure to do this in a well ventilated room. I then added a bit of gold pigment ink on top of the vellum and on the pumpkin die cut.

The pumpkin comes out of the Pretty Pumpkins Bundle that will be released August 3, 2021. The sentiment I used came from the Through it Together stamp set and I heat embossed this in gold on a strip of Cajun Craze. There are so many amazing sentiments in this set. I finished the card with a few of the Brushed Metallic Dots that will also launch with the Mini Catalog on August 3!
