Shaded Summer Dies Sneak Peek

I am playing along with this week’s Paper Players Challenge, it is a fun color combo of Bumblebee Just Jade, and Misty Moonlight PP549. Of course, the first thing I could think of for this was Flowers.

I don’t have a lot of flower sets and have had m eye on the Shaded Summer stamp set. But I am not the biggest fan of fussy cutting, so I passed. AND then the 2nd round of Sale-A-Bration catalog came out and with a $100.00 purchase, you can get a set of dies to go with the Shaded Summer stamp set. Of course, I got it! I love me a good die set!

Today is Thursday and Stampin Through the Catalog featured stamp set just happens to be Shaded summer! You can find Stampin Through the catalog on Facebook and Instagram. They have new challenges every Tuesday and Thursday.

There are a bunch of fun flower dies in the set that I have not even started to use yet. For my sentiment, I used a mix of dies a scalloped stitched and a new die in the Seasonal Labels die set that will be released 8/3/2021. I used the Happy Birthday from Sweet as a Peach, I love the font.

I used a piece of Misty Moonlight and Sweet Symmetry DSP with a piece of Vellum on top of it as my mail layers. I used my bumblebee ink pad on the seasonal labels die and then used my water painter to color in my flowers with the challenge colors. Then added just a smidge of wink of Stella.

I am looking forward to sharing more projects using this set over the next few weeks and hope you enjoy this set as much as I do.

Update: 7/17/21 Thank you Anne Marie! My card was selected as A Cut Above this week. It is always fun to play along with The Paper Players.
