This week at Freshly Made Sketches they are celebrating their 500th challenge! That is a huge milestone and I am so excited to play along!

For my entry I started with Thick Basic White card base. Then Added a layer of Night of Navy card stock. To that I added a layer of the Beauty of Nature Designer Series Paper. For the top layer I used my blending brush to add Cajun Craze and Pumpkin Pie ink to a piece of Basic White cardstock. Using my Dark Night of Navy Stampin’ Blend I added a bit of splatter to the inked layer.

I cut the large leaf cluster from The Forever Flourishing dies to create my focal point. After I die cut it I swiped gold pigment ink over the Soft Suede leaves to give it a bit of shimmer. I added double layer of ribbon under the sentiment. I did add demensionals to the sentiment to give a bit of lift. My sentiment came from the Shaded Summer Stamp Set. I love how easy this card was to back and will be sending it out to a family member that always makes everything special!

Cool thing about the Shaded Summer Stamp set from the Annual Catalog is that the Sale-A-Bration catalog has dies to go with the stamp set! And you can get them with free with a $100.00 purchase.
