I pulled out my Rainbow of Happiness bundle on Sunday, determined to make a card with it this week. I decided to go with one of my favorite all time color combos Basic White, Basic Black, and Crumb Cake. For some extra fun I added a bunch of GOLD accents!

I created stencil with one of the rainbow dies on a piece of Basic White, then I used a paint brush to add glue to the inside of the Rainbow stencil. Once the glue was added I removed the stencil and layered on the Gilded Leafing. One spot got a bit messy so I tired to fix it, lol. The rule I try to follow (and never do) is don’t touch it, it is fine. So the rainbow ended up just a bit messier then I would have liked, but I decide to use it. That is the beauty of handmade. If you are looking for a cleaner look, you could always die cut the rainbow from Gold Foil sheets~

To get the gold splatter effect on the Basic Black layer, I watered down a bit of Tombow Multipurpose Glue and used a paint brush to tap it on like splatter. I let it dry for a few minutes; you want it to be tacky not wet, then added the Gilded Leafing on top. The Basic black layer and gold heat embossed sentiment layer are popped upon dimensionals.

The sentiment came from the now retired SAB set Special Moments, I love the mix of fonts in this set. I finished the card with a few black sequence (I think most people have them in their stash) and a piece of the Fine Art Ribbon at the top.
I hope you enjoyed this bit of inspiration, if you create using this sketch tag me on social media and use #ldscs. I will add your project to my stories on social media! If you did Leave a comment and let me know! Until next time, Happy Crafting.
