I used my Alcohol Ink Backgrounds for this cute card

I learned how alcohol inks move last week and this week I am turning those backgrounds in to cards. I had feeling I might struggle with this process just a bit. The goal is to keep the background the focus, and I like to put lots of “things” on my cards. It was a good challenge to focus on just the Sentiment and background.

I determined the best way to do that was with a Hot Foiled Sentiment from Casual Greetings by Essentials by Ellen. With a das of gold butterfly embellishments. I added a simple layer of black that measures 4 1/2″ x 3 1/2″. My alcohol inked background measures 5″ x 3″.
