Today I am playing along with The Paper Players Happy “bird” day Clean and Simple Challenge: PP624!

To keep this card as CAS as possible (for me), I did a center line focused on blending. Blending is probably my favorite technique there is. I used 3 colors of Distressed Oxide Inks, Tattered Rose, Dusty Concord and Iced Spruce. I used the blending tool to add the color to a piece of Bristol Smooth paper. I really love the clean lines I can achieve on Bristol paper!

The stamp set I used to heat emboss the birds with is from the Dollar Tree! I am very impressed how well the images turn out with my Dollar Tree sets. I used Tattered Rose to add color to a sentiment strip and then stamped the Have A Nice Day sentiment with VersaFine Clair Nocturne. A touch of splatter using Frost White all purpose ink.
I hope you enjoyed this bit of inspiration, if you create using this sketch tag me on social media and use #ldscs. I will add your project to my stories on social media! If you did Leave a comment and let me know! Until next time, Happy Crafting.
