I am doing a big destash in my craft room, while going through everything I found this fun piece of Stampin’ Up! retired DSP. I don’t have any new home type of stamps set so I decided to hang on to this piece. And I am so glad I did.

My friend hit a huge milestone in her life and I 100% had to send her a card to celebrate!

I decided to go with the ink smooshing technique and used Blueprint Sketch, Carved Pumpkin and Cracked Pistachio distress oxide inks to do it. I used blending brushes to add color behind each of the houses, the white just seemed to plain for this card.
The sentiment is from Altenew’s Mega Label Love stamp set, I used VersaFine Clair Nocturne to get a nice and bold background to the word congrats. I thought it added a nice contrast to the bright colors of the card. I finished with ink splatter using Black Soot and Picket Fence Spray Stains. Because what is a card with out a little splatter!

I hope you enjoyed this card. If you did Leave a comment and let me know! Until next time, Happy Crafting.
