I don’t know about you, but I love a good pun! And the Heffy Doodle You are Udderly Fabulous stamp set does not disappoint.
This was a fun card to make for sure! It took me a minute to figure out the grass and sky colors but as soon as I did, the card finished itself. I used the Heffy Doodle Rolling Hills Landscape to create my background. The grass colors are Distress Oxide Inks, Twisted Citron, and Rustic Wilderness. For the Clouds I used Speckled Egg for the base layer and Salty Ocean for the top layer. The flowers are colored with Villainous Potion, I really wanted the tulips to stand out against all the green. There is just a touch of Wild Honey on the edges of the sun.
To achieve the fun grass texture I used an Acrylic Level 1 Fan 2 brush. I used water and a bit extra of the Rustic Wilders ink smooshed out on my glass mat. To color the cow and the chickens, lots and lots of Copic Makers!
Copic Colors: N0, N2, N4, N6, E25, E29, E30, E31, E34, E50, E51, E79,Y18, Y13, R08, R20
TIP: I stamp my images in Tuxedo Black first using my Misti, then leave the stamps in place. Once the images are colored and dried, I place my sheet of coloring back in my Mist and stamp over it with VersaFine Clair Nocturne to bold up the lines.
There is a matching die set that makes cutting out this adorable images a breeze! I am all for using my Scan N Cut, but on the little stamped images the dies make things hassle free. I have a list below of supplies used to make this cute card. Remember to Sieze the Moo-ment once in a while.
I hope you enjoyed this bit of inspiration, if you create using this sketch tag me on social media and use #ldscs. I will add your project to my stories on social media! If you did Leave a comment and let me know! Until next time, Happy Crafting.
