I created this card to play along with the Just Add Ink Challenge #693. For my two I chose Squares and Sayings. I decided to make a square card with squares on it! I do love how it turned out.
I created a watercolor layout using Tim Holtz Distress watercolor paper and my Windsor Newton watercolor pan. My ideas lately do not match up with the supplies I have on hand. So, I just figure out work arounds. The concept I came up with was a morning sunrise finishing with a cup of coffee.
The saying for this card was supposed to say Rise & Shine Today & Always. I am an easily distracted person and ended up typing tomorrow. I honestly did not even realize I did that until after I had already traced the lettering in Blue Gel Pen. Oh well, I have decided it still works.
