Hard to believe we are on challenge #7 for hour Sharing Spring Instagram Hop! You can head over there and check out all the gorgeous projects!

I decided to go with wings and picked out a digital stamp from Colorado Craft company called Hummingbird Delight. The next picture attempts to highlight the glitter gel pen highlights I gave the hummingbird, that are not so noticeable in the above photo.
I took Artistic liberty with the Strawberry flowers as they say. In life strawberry flowers are usually white, I wanted to practice with the Ohuhu markers so now they are colorful! If you are interested the strawberry flower, it is from the digital stamp I used on last week’s card, you can check that out HERE.

I used the Ohuhu Alcohol markers to color the Hummingbird and the flowers, I didn’t go too crazy as I am practicing and getting the hang of the markers. Shadowing is off but that is ok, it was fun to make!
Here is a list of the colors I used:
Green area of bird/Green Flowers
GY5, GYY, GY8
Blue Belly of bird/Blue flowers
PB7, PB6, B668
Pink neck area of bird/Pink flowers
RP6, R15, R070
Beak area of Bird
Y070, YR2, YR3
Purple Flower
V330, FY050, R24
I did a very light watercolor wash around the whole image; I am using Express It paper so I had to make sure I did not use too much water. Then I added white gauche splatter and some fun glitter elements using Gel Glitter pens.
