Faux Twisted Ribbon

For this week’s #minicardchallenges card Hop over on Instagram I created a faux twisted ribbon card. Let me tell you I got stuck on this one, but in the end it came together.

The faux ribbon was created using the gorgeous Galaxy paper from The Rabbit Hole Designs and I believe I got one of the last 2 packs that they had in stock when I ordered a few months ago. I checked before working on this post and they no longer have a listing for it. But use your imagination and try other galaxy paper or even better make your own!

These adorable Gnomes are from Copictopia Creative, as soon as I saw them, I ordered them. And that is saying something because I normally sit and simmer for weeks on a new stamp set. Especially now, my craft stuff has to stay portable. What you can’t see from these photos is that the Gnomes are popped up on wobblers. If you head over to Instagram there is a short video demonstration.

The images were fussy cut. If you are going to fussy cut and not use your Brother Scan & Cut because it is packed away in jail. I suggest a good pair of paper only scissors like the Cutter Bee scissors I linked blow.

As for the colors I used to color these guys, here is photo of the Ohuhu Alcohol Markes I used. Since the colors are mostly the same for the two, I am not going to list them out individually.

Did you need more information about this card? Leave a comment and I will be happy to reply.

This website may contain affiliate links for the products I create projects. By clicking on the link to purchase these products, I may earn just enough to get an extra cup of coffee. The best part is it doesn't cost you anything extra to click on the link. I don't link any products that I wouldn't use in my own craft room. It just allows you easier access to the products used.
