Shark Week Hop Is Here

I love the card I am sharing with you today! I made this pull tab card for the Shark Week Hop that @createwithkas is hosting.

Shark Week Hop Your Paper Insider

I created the ocean waves using 2 fabulous papers from Your Paper Insider quarterly subscription box that was sent to me a few weeks ago. I used a nice and thick blue green piece as well as a green shimmer piece of paper. I did a bit of paper tearing and added some Archival Ink to give it color variation. I used a watered-down gouache to add splatter and the water line look.

Pull Tab Card

For the sky area I used a piece of Texture thick white card stock, it is so pretty but hard to see the texture in the photo. But trust me it is so pretty. I want to use another piece of it with a floral design. It reminds me of the texture in watercolor paper.

This card has a fun pull tab element, so the cute shark is peeking out of the water and then pops up to let you know You’re Jawsome! The moving element was created with lots of foam tape and a small rectangle cut behind the shark.

The fun shark was and other creates were images found in Canva. This card is for personal use only not to be sold. I colored them using Ohuhu alcohol markers to color the images.

I hope you enjoyed this pull tab card, if you did be sure to leave a comment!
