Hey all! I am back with another fun card featuring Positive Tate’s Ocean Adventures and the Pool water Stencil.
This is a mini slim line sized card. I die cut a decorative rectangle to create the background. I used Distress Oxide inks to create water and a bright sun shinny day. Sky colors are Squeezed Lemonade, Carved Pumpkin, and Spiced Marmalade. The water is Salty Ocean, I added a light-handed layer and then when I had the added the Pool Water Stencil, I added more pressure to get the color variation while only using one color.
Positive Tate in an innertube relaxing is colored with Copic markers. I cut Positive Tate and the sentiment out using my Scan N Cut. I added a wobbler to Tate because a wobbler is the only thing that make sense with the sentiment. Ok maybe that is just me, sometimes I take things to literal.
As always, I like to add a bit more interest to my cards, so I added splatters in various colors, and I added glitter to the edges of some of the Pool water out line. I thought a bit of shimmery water would be fun.
I mini slimline layout was added to a black card base to really make the water and sky stand out on the page. This is a fairly simple card that any recipient would be happy to receive!
