Hey friends, Megan with the design team back with a simple layered card that features Positive Tate. The stamp set I used today is Positive Tate – Neuro Sparkle.

To create this card, I cut a mini slimline sized card base and then added layers from the Perfect Piece 6×6 Pattern Paper pack.
Layer Cut List:
Green Paper Mat: 5 1/4″ x 3 1/4″
Puzzle layer: 5 1/8″ x 3 1/8″
Purple layer behind green dry embossed piece: 4 1/4″ x 1 3/4″
Green dry embossed layer: 4 1/8″ x 1 1/2″
Purple layer under sentiment: 1 7/8″ x 3/4″
I used liquid glue to adhere the layers together. Between the bottom puzzle layer and the purple layer, I added 4 die cut pieces to give additional detail to the card and used foam tape to give the card more depth between these layers.

I used the Tartan stencil to create texture on the green paper; this was achieved by spritzing the paper with water and then running it through my die cut machine with a shim. This created enough texture to emboss the paper. It is a great way to get more uses from the products you buy.
The heart die cut that sits behind Tate is also cut from the Perfect Piece 6 x 6 pattern paper. Tate is colored with Copic Markers.

To finish off the card I added white splatters, which I love. But did feel the card was missing something. So, I decided to add 3 strips of crimpled purple payer behind all the layers. It filled up the white space nicely. I don’t know about you, but I struggle with white space.
I hope this card inspires you to stop hording that pattern paper and chop it up.
