Hey crafty friends, Megan with the design team here sharing a card that features the Froggy Quotes 4×6 Stamp Set.
To start this card I die cut a piece of Seasons of Giving pattern paper with a die from my stash. Then I cut out two sizes of circles and created stitched circle frames for them. I also cut a second stitched circle out the same size as the frame from acetate. I gave each of the frogs a layer of acetate to give the “water” a bit of shin in person.

On the plain circles I stamped the frog and lily pad using Copic safe marker ink. To get the layers I stamped the frog first, then put masking paper over the frog. Then stamped the lily pad on top of the frog mask. I did add a mask over the lily pad so I could layer distress ink to mimic water and sky. I used Pretty Peacock, and Pine needle for the water and Salty Ocean for the sky. I then used a wet brush and moved the water around a bit and finished by adding white splatters.
I used the accessory stamps in the set to add additional whimsy to the front of the card. I used the pink on 3 of the elements and the pink layer behind the sentiment to tie the card together. The card would have felt off to me if only the water lily had been pink.
To complete the card, I heat embossed the sentiment, speckled a few Crafty Dots and finished with gold gel pen highlights.
