Sneak Peek Peaceful Prints
Playing along with this week’s sketch challenge from Global Design Project. This is a great sketch that could be used in so many ways! I have seen so many amazing entries already and can’t see what else pops up.
I decided to stick with my Christmas them and show off a few of the upcoming product releases. This Designer Series paper I used in Peaceful Prints and is a sale-a-bration item and can be earned with a $50.00 purchase on AUGUST 3RD!
I stuck to traditional Christmas colors Real Red and Garden Green then I added Basic Black. The pattern in this DSP is a lot of fun, the deer that is part of the focal point is fussy cut from another piece of the DSP in the pack. This is a very useful pack of DSP, I have already used it to make multiple cards and will end up using either pack this holiday season. I used 9 Stirps that are cut 1/2″ x 4″. I was going to use 10 but the spacing was not working out so I just, left it off! Crazy I know…I am a risk-taker.
I was looking for a way to make the fussy cut deer stand out. That is when I saw a piece of Be Dazzling Specialty Paper sitting on my desk and knew it would be perfect. I layered it on a piece of Real Red cardstock! And you guessed it the specialty is another sale-a-bration item that can be earned with a $50.00 purchase. I added a Wonderful Snowflake behind the deer. I fished the focal point with a few pieces of odds and ends ribbon.
I thought the sentiment worked well with the Be Dazzling paper, the sentiment came from the Christmas To Remember Stamp set in the upcoming Mini catalog. So many amazing sentiments!
I hope you enjoyed this card. Be sure to leave a comment and let me know what you think. And if you don’t already have a demonstrator, I would love to fill the position, just click here to get in touch with me.Product List
