Playing along with this week’s Freshly Made Sketch challenge # 502. This sketch was exciting because I knew I was going to need a large focal image and have been wanting to stack the cupcakes and have not gotten to it yet! I just adore the Sweets & Treats stamp set!

I started with a Night of Navy card base that I added a layer of the Sweet Symmetry DSP to. I left just a thin line of Night of Navy to break up the white in the DSP. Then I added a small strip of the same DSP to work as the banner piece on the sketch.

I used the Large lable die from the Seasonal Lable Dies to die cut a piece of Basic White. I was so excited to be able to do the stack of cupcakes! I pulled the colors from the DSP to do it. I used Calypso Coral, Bumblebee, and Cinnamon Cider for the cupcakes. I don’t have Bumblebee or Calypso Coral blends, so I used my ink and water painter to color the frosting and cupcake wrapper. Then I used my Cinnamon Cider blend to color the cupcake. I stamped my cloche stand with Night Of Navy Ink and colored it with the Light Night of Navy Stampin’ Blend.

I heat embossed the happy from the Biggest Wish stamp set in white on Night of Navy Card stock and then cut it out. I added the sentiment and cupcakes to a piece of the Mango Melody Ombre Specialty Paper. I used the Triple Trio punch to round the corners then popped it on dimensionals then added it to the card front. I also added dimensionals to the sentiment.
