Here is a continuation of the cards I created during the Virtual Stampin Spectacular hosted by Robyn Cardon that I attended last week. The prompt was Sketch created for the challenge, I would share the sketch but not sure I can. It was a challenge for the spectacular. I will share my card instead!
If you don’t know already I LOVE Sweets & Treats is at the top of my list for Favorite Stamp sets out of the June to December 2021 Mini Catalog. For this sketch I decided to do a birthday cupcake card. I used the masking technique to stack the cupcakes. Then colored the frost in with Soft Seafoam Stampin Blend, and I used Light Real Red and Bronze to colored the wrappers. I do not have the Flirty Flamingo Blends so I had to improvise. I stamped and fussy cut the base of the Cloche stand and colored it with Soft Succulent. Then I added a layer of Wink of Stella to the cupcakes for that sparkle every birthday should have.
The Pattern Party Designer Series Paper is the perfect backdrop for these yummy cupcakes! I finished the cheerful birthday card with Soft Succulent 2021-2023 In Color Jewels and the white ribbon from the Flowers For Every Season combo pack. I used a Seasonal lable to die cut the Happy Birthday sentiment.
