I had some time yesterday to play in my craft room after a week of the kinds being home all day it was a great way to decompress.

I knew I wanted to use the Daffodil and the Layering Designs Vellum. As you can see I did tear the edges on either side, I thought it was a cute added detail that took no time at all. I ended up pairing it with the now no longer available Daffodil Afternoon Sale A Bration DSP the Paper Lattice and Metallic Dots.

I colored my daffodil flower with Dark Flirty Flamingo, Dark Pale Papaya, and Light Pale Papaya Blends. The leaves are colored with Granny Apple and Mossy Meadow I just think the colors went well with the DSP.

With my Blending Brush I added a layer of Balmy Blue ink on the vellum to set the Daffodil on. It helped break up the black words. I felt the project needed a bit of brown, so I added some of the Early Espresso Fuax Suede Ribbon behind the daffodil die cut.
I die cut the Thank you from a Simon Says die that I received last month when I ordered my Pink and Main Double sided adhesive rolls I used for the Mini Folio I made. The Die is neat because it has a showdown cu out for it as well, I just did not need it for this card.
I hope you enjoyed this card! Let me know by leaving a comment, and if you are in the United States and don’t have a demonstrator I would love to fill the position!
