Can I just say, there were never true words stamped in this craft room! Laundry WILL always be there for you. I combined two of the Ink Road Stamps set to create this fun card, Snarky Housewife Vol 3 for the sentiment and Inked Kirsten for they focal image. These sets have great sentiments, if you need a giggle for the day go check them out!
For my focal image I heat embossed Inked Kirsten in WOW! Ebony black embossing powder on Ranger Watercolor paper. I used various colors from the Altenew watercolor pallet to color in the image. I let it dry a bit and then when back and added shading. I am really pleased with how it turned out, watercolor is a newer technique for me. Lots more practice to do!
I used the Pink Fresh Studio’s strip dies to create the two tone purple background. Then masked off the Inked Kirsten and stamped jus the laundry basket with Versamark and heat embossed the basket on the strips. I don’t think I used enough anti static powder, so there is a bit of cast off powered. I wasn’t going to make another one, but strips together can be time consuming if things move!
After everything was dry I heat embossed this super fun sentiment on the card. The Snarky Housewife VOL 3 offers many fun sentiments, I can’t say for sure which is my favorite. I am looking forward to future cards with these sets!
