Simple Happy Birthday

Hello crafty people! I am so excited to be able to share a card project with you today. While all of my craft supplies are still in jail aka (the POD), I decided to challenge myself and create with less. At least until my supplies can be freed.

I received this cute 3 x 4 stamp set A Little Celebration from Rubberstamps.com to try out. This is the first of a few projects I will be posting with it. It was the perfect time to receive a birthday stamp set; I like to get started on birthday cards at the beginning of the year. I never end up having enough, but sure do like to try.

The background for this card is a very simple watercolor wash with a bit of splatter using Winsor & Newton watercolors.

I challenged myself to try a new to me coloring medium and picked up some Prismacolor colored pencils! I was really pleased with how the little gifts turned out. I did add a few details with a fine point Posca pen.

A Little Celebration Clear Stamp Set – RubberStamps.com is a nice quality clear stamp and I look forward to using sets from RubberStamps.com in the near further. I have 5 sets in my cart right now, trying to narrow it down to 2!

I hope this card brings you a bit of inspiration, be sure to leave a comment if it did!

The best part is it doesn't cost you anything extra to click on the link. I don't link any products that I wouldn't use in my own craft room. It just allows you easier access to the products used.
